Coaches Safety Certification Seminar:  With the goal of operating our sports programs as safely as possible, the Tewksbury Athletic Association requires all its coaches to go through the Rutgers S.A.F.E.T.Y Clinic.  This is a non sport-specific, common sense clinic which covers:  legal aspects of coaching concepts, training and conditioning athletes, and medical/first aid aspects of coaching.  The program takes just a few hours and is offered both locally and in nearby towns.  There is no cost to TAA coaches and certification qualifies the individual for coverage under the township's liability insurance policy.
